I have been working on a series of large scale drawings exploring the posibilities, placing them out of context and out of scale hung willy-nilly in the piazzi and streets.
Manual communication, those hand gestures that convey meaning, are an indespensible part of life, but in no place more so than in Italy. The saints and angels and vestiges of emperors that you encounter routinely in this Eternal Jumble frantically point this way and that way, but mostly up.
